Tiny Moments #02 - October 12-18
These week we went to a Rodeo and checked out an Apple Orchard. Fall is the best time of year to be outside!
Tiny Moments 01 (A Weekly Review)
Here are some of my favorite images taken with the Leica m240 and the Zeiss 35mm Biogon (a lovely combo). These images were taken from October 5th to October 11th.
A Personal Challenge
As it turns out the Digital Leica functions almost identically to the Leica M3. The things that have been added (light meter, faster shutter speed, LCD display, etc) don’t take away from the experience, and I find myself shooting it in the same way I did with my M3. I carry it everywhere and snap everything. In these past few weeks, I’ve captured some of my favorite images. My love for photography for the sake of photography has returned, and I look forward to carrying this thing everywhere.
Hurricane Helene
We began to notice the effects of Hurricane Helene early on Friday, Sept 27th. Our power went out around 6 AM and didn’t return until late Sunday evening. Honestly, camping out isn’t so bad, but with four kids and a dog, it can be taxing. At the time, the power seemed like it wouldn’t be restored for a while and more importantly the surrounding area was experiencing shortages. We toughed it out for 24 hours, but the kids were getting aggravated so we decided to pack up real quick and head to the beach.
